Airdrie Regional ARTS Society
Started in 2010, ARTember is a signature event in Airdrie that occurs annually throughout the month of September. The purpose of the event is to connect and engage residents with various arts and culture activities and their organizers, while sharing the cultural diversity that exists here in Airdrie.
This year ARTember is returning after a brief hiatus and the initiative is meant to bring some positivity to what has proven to be one of the worlds most trying and difficult times. Airdrie Regional ARTS Society is excited to support ARTember, doing their part to ensure visual arts are represented throughout this event.
In addition to many of our local artists submitting artwork to be exhibited at the Store Upstairs, ARTs has created this online gallery which is inspired by the concept of “That which brings us joy". This concept which brings us joy is simple, to the point, and something we hope to share as artists, focusing on those very things that inspire us, bringing us comfort and happiness. The Gallery below is a collaboration of local Airdrie Artists who have come together to share their inspiration and the love of their craft.
Supporting local artists is something Airdrie Regional Arts Society is extremely proud to do. Below you will find submissions to some of Airdrie’s talented local artists. With each submission you will find the Artist’s Name, the Title and Size of the piece and where possible, a link to their personal website or social media page. Should you wish to purchase a piece of art in this gallery you can follow the links to that artist’s personal site and contact them directly.
The expressed purpose of this gallery is to share and connect our artistic community to Airdrie, as a whole, and to share the inspiration of beautiful things. With that sentiment in mind we encourage you to enjoy the gallery below and learn more about each artist by clicking the links provided to see what more they have to offer.
